Former Chelsea player Christopher Nkunku has reacted to the performance of Chelsea’s forward Pedro Neto, who scored three goals in the team’s 4-0 win against Hull City in the FA Cup fourth-round match on Friday.

Nkunku joined AC Milan last summer after playing for two seasons at Stamford Bridge. Neto, 25, scored the first goal at the MKM Stadium in the 40th minute, and the away team was ahead at halftime.

The Portugal player doubled his team’s lead six minutes into the second half. After Estevao scored to make it 3-0 for the Blues just before the hour mark, Neto finished his first senior hat-trick 19 minutes later, helping Liam Rosenoir’s team win convincingly.

After the game, Neto shared a photo of himself with the match ball on Instagram and Nkunku, who scored 18 goals in 62 games for Chelsea across different competitions, responded with two fire emojis.

With his three-goal performance on Friday, Neto achieved his tenth goal of the season. He has scored 10 goals and provided four assists in 38 matches across all competitions.

In the Premier League, he has scored five goals and made three assists in 26 games.

The team is currently fifth in the league after 26 games.
