Nigerian music superstar Davido has opened up about the hidden struggles that come with fame, revealing how his celebrity status has affected members of his family.
Speaking candidly, the award-winning singer said that although he enjoys being famous, the lifestyle also comes with several personal challenges and unwanted attention.
According to Davido, his father often sends him fake stories published on blogs, while his sister had to change her child’s school because of constant disturbances linked to having a famous relative.
He also disclosed that his daughter faced bullying at school because she is the child of a popular celebrity.
“I like fame, but it has its downsides. My dad sends me fake blog stories, my sister changed her kid’s school due to constant disturbances over their famous uncle, and my daughter was bullied at her school just because her dad is OBO.”
