Family announces burial arrangements for Abia couple k!lled by bandits

A family has announced the burial arrangements for a couple who were k!lled by suspected bandits.

Mr. Obinna Princewill Kaburu and his wife, Mrs. Ifeyinwa Kaburu, both aged 34, were k!lled on July 24, 2025, while in their shop.

The couple hailed from Umuahia North LGA, Abia State (Ohokobe Mdume Ibeku) and Ohaukwu LGA, Ebonyi State (Umuogudu Akpu Mgbo) respectively.

Their tragic d3ath has thrown the two communities and their families into mourning.

According to the family, the funeral will take place on Friday, August 8, 2025.

The bodies will leave the mortuary at 7:00 a.m. for their hometown in Umuodom, Ohokobe Mdume Ibeku, Umuahia North LGA, Abia State, where they will be laid to rest.

They are survived by their parents, siblings, friends, and four children.
