The burial arrangements for the late actor, Alex Ekubo, have been released.
Newsunplug reported last week that the light-skinned actor had passed away on Monday, May 11th, after a battle with Cancer and was 40 years old.
In a heartbreaking statement, his family announced that the actor had passed away after a brief but courageous battle. According to the statement, he passed away at Evercare Hospital due to complications arising from advanced metastatic kidney cancer.
His family, in an Instagram post, expressed gratitude for the beautiful, deeply impactful life the actor had lived. They appreciated the public for the outpouring of love, prayers, messages, visits, calls, support and strength shown to them during their painful period.
According to their announcement, a Service of Songs would be held for the actor on Wednesday, 10th June, 2026, with a white dress code. A wake-keep would follow on Wednesday, the 17th of June, and the actor would be laid to rest on Thursday, the 18th of June, in his hometown in Abia State. An Interment and Reception would follow after his burial.
