FIFA U-17 World Cup: Two African Countries Qualify For Quarter-Final Stage

Two African countries have qualified for the FIFA U-17 World Cup quarter-final stage in Qatar.

This follows the conclusion of the final Round of 16 fixtures stage fixtures played on Tuesday.

NEWSUNPLUG reports that the two countries that have reached the knockout stage are Burkina Faso and Morocco.

Burkina Faso and Morocco advanced to the last eight after beating Uganda and Mali, respectively.

Meanwhile, the likes of Brazil, Switzerland, Brazil, Italy and Austria joined the African duo with comfortable wins in their Round of 16 fixtures.

NEWSUNPLUG  reports that the U-17 FIFA World Cup will come to an end later this month.
