Four people were shot in east Los Angeles close to where fans packed the streets for the England vs. Mexico World Cup match, which England won 3-2.
Police received reports of three shootings just after 9:40 p.m. Sunday, July 5, a LA Sheriff’s Department spokesperson told The Post.
Four were hospitalized but the extent of their injuries remains unknown.
LASD said no fatalities were reported, a suspect hasn’t been arrested, and no motive has been identified.
Earlier Sunday, Los Angeles Police Department chiefs issued a city-wide tactical alert, meaning those on-duty are not allowed to clock off until they are told so, KNBC reported.
