Nigerian music stars won at the 2026 African Muzik Magazine Awards, with Davido, Tems and Phyno among the headline winners.
The 13th edition of AFRIMMA was held on September 12, 2026, in Dallas, Texas.
The organisers updated the official results page on Tuesday, recognising artistes and entertainers from across Africa and the diaspora across 41 categories.
Afrobeats star Davido clinched the night’s biggest prize, Album of the Year, for his project 5ive.
The win adds to his growing list of international recognitions this year.
Tems was named Best Female West Africa, while fast-rising singer Ruger took Best Male West Africa.
In the rap category, veteran rapper Phyno won Best Male Rap Act.
Gospel star Mercy Chinwo also represented Nigeria, winning Best Gospel.
AFRIMMA, which celebrates African music and culture globally, drew nominees and performers from across the continent, the UK, the US and the Caribbean this year.
