Galatasaray coach, Okan Buruk, has provided the latest injury update on striker Victor Osimhen ahead of his side’s fixtures with Alanyaspor and Liverpool, respectively.

Galatasaray will take on Alanyaspor in the Turkish Super Lig tie on Friday and Liverpool in the Champions League next Tuesday.

Osimhen is currently recovering from an ankle injury he picked up against Rwanda in a World Cup qualifier while playing for Nigeria during the September international break.

The 26-year-old has missed several matches for Galatasaray in the past couple of days

Providing an update on Osimhen ahead of Galatasaray’s next two games, Buruk said the Nigeria international has minor aches and pains.

Buruk said (via Habersarikirmizi): “Osimhen was checked today. He also took part in yesterday’s training.

“He still has minor aches and pains. If he can tolerate these and play, we hope he will be with the team in the next match.

“We hope he will be in the squad for the Alanya match. We will try him out in training. We also expect him to be on the pitch for the Liverpool match.”
