Gunmen suspected to be kidnappers have abducted a senior lecturer in the University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN), Prof Oguejiofo Ujam.
Ujam was kidnapped along the Ugwuogo-Nike-Opi-Nsukka Road in Enugu State on Sunday morning, October 27, 2024.
Oguejiofor is a lecturer at the Department of Pure and Industrial Chemistry and Dean of the School of General Studies of the university.
Details of his abduction are still sketchy at the time of filing this report.
It was gathered that the kidnappers had not contacted his family for ransom.
