Gunmen attacked an army checkpoint in Abia State, issuing direct threats to Governor Alex Otti during the ass@ult.

The attackers, who were heard on the scene, made it clear that they would not tolerate the checkpoint and vowed to dismantle it. They also delivered a chilling message to Governor Otti, warning him that if the checkpoint was seen again, he would be in danger.

The gunmen were reportedly heard stating, “This is November 13th, and we don’t want to see the nonsense (checkpoint) again.” They further issued an ultimatum, threatening that if the army checkpoint remained, the governor would face dire consequences.
