Harry and Meghan have reportedly changed their children’s school in the UK just two days into the new term over security concerns.

Archie, 7, and Lillibet, 5, are believed to have been moved to a new school as it emerged their parents, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, have been granted their first government backed security review since returning to the UK.

Insiders claim the Royal couple did not have concerns with the school, but had issues with the traffic.

Sources close to Harry and Meghan told HELLO! Magazine the busy route to and from the school made it tricky for them to get their children there with their vehicles in convoy.

A spokesman for the Duke and Duchess said: “The decision for the children to move school was taken following a discussion with the family’s security team about the practicalities of their current arrangements.

“The parents remain extremely grateful to all the teachers and staff for the love, care and effort they have shown their family. This decision should in no way be interpreted as a reflection on the school or the exceptional care the children have received there.”

The development comes as the pair have been granted their first government-backed security review since they stepped back from royal duties.

Both Harry and Meghan will receive an official risk assessment as the couple have relocated back to UK soil after spending five years living in Montecito, California.

The Sussexes have been requested by the Royal and VIP Executive Committee (Ravec) to share the full details of their new daily routines, the Telegraph reports.
Ravec has requested the couple to share as much information as possible about their new routines in the UK. The move is to evaluate the degree of any threats the royals may face following their move.

The request is believed to have stated the family must establish a “pattern of life” in the UK. The Sussexes will be required to share their daily journeys including the school run, addresses involved, various timing and routes they are expected to take.

They will also have to share other regular movement made by all members of the family and additional evidence which they believe is relevant.

Ravec – which is part of the Home Office – is expected to meet again to discuss the findings following the review.
