Former Chelsea midfielder, John Obi Mikel, has mocked Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta for forgetting to tell his players to bring their boots and show up against Bournemouth in the Premier League.
Recall that Arteta watched as Bournemouth defeated Arsenal 2-1 at the Emirates Stadium over the weekend.
Two goals from Alex Scott and Eli Junior Kroupi gave the visitors the victory against the Gunners.
Speaking on the Obi One podcast, the former Super Eagles captain also insisted that the encounter between Arsenal and Bournemouth was boring to watch.
“He (Arteta) forgot to tell them (Arsenal players) to show up, to bring their lunch and dinner and bring their boots and chin pads because they were not there in the Stadium.
“It was boring to watch ( Arsenal vs Bournemouth), no excitement, no spark and the Arsenal players don’t want the ball. No freedom, no fluidity between the players,” Obi Mikel said.
