Nollywood actress Tonto Dikeh has responded to criticism for praising her ex-husband, Olakunle Churchill, on Mother’s Day.
Newsunplug reported hours ago that in celebration of Mother’s Day, Dikeh shared a clip of herself and her dog, appreciating her ex for making her a mother. Tonto said being a mother is the most beautiful part of her story and prayed for blessings on her ex. She also sent wishes to Churchill’s mother.
Reacting to the criticisms she received, Dikeh noted how Churchill is the only man who made her a mother.
She noted that the world is truly a sick place and expressed gratitude that she doesn’t let opinions direct her. Tonto admonished critics not to thank the father of their kids.

For the only man who has put a child in me?
The world is truly a sick place, and I’m grateful I don’t let your opinions direct me.
When e reach your turn, don’t thank them.
