Nollywood actor and filmmaker Stanley Ontop has defended his colleague, Queen Esther Udeh, against Destiny Etiko.
Newsunplug reported on the Where Is The Lie podcast that Esther claimed Destiny told her not to come close if she wanted to film her. She claimed the actress said she would snatch her phone, throw it, and slap her.
The crew member said that at some point, she thought she was smelling, hence the actress’ póor treatment of her.
In a new video she shared online, Esther alleged that Destiny had sent her a DM, threatening to arrest her. Sharing proof of her threat, Esther doubled down on her statement about the actress.
Defending Queen Esther, Stanley said Esther has the right to share her own experience. He recalled how Destiny slapped a makeup artist on set and how she embarrassed her PA.
He said he wouldn’t tolerate her threatening a crew member with lawsuits and would stand and support Esther.
“I heard that one Nollywood actress called Destiny went to Queen Esther’s DM to threaten her with a lawsuit because Queen Esther shared her experience working with her on set.
Queen Esther has the right to share her experience with Destiny, or any other actor. I am speaking up because 5 years ago on set, Destiny slapped a makeup artist, and I know how we handled that situation then, and she always embarrassed her PA.
What I will not tolerate is Destiny threatening a crew member with lawsuits in her DM. I remember vividly last week: Onyeze Production made huge allegations about you on a podcast in Enugu. You didn’t go to his DM to intimidate him because he’s a producer/marketer.
Your power no reach there.
Just so you know, if you take any legal action or arrest Queen Esther, I will stand with her and support her. I don’t think we should go that route. But if you have the strength, let’s do a small movie online; I have missed my old self”.
