Nollywood actor Desmond Elliot has topped headlines over his apology to the Chief of Staff to President Bola Tinubu, Femi Gbajabiamila, over his actions during the last All Progressives Congress (APC) primary election in Lagos.
In a video circulating on social media, the actor was captured on his knees pleading with Gbajabiamila for forgiveness and seeking reintegration into the ruling party in Lagos.

He said he has no excuse for his actions and has nothing more to say than an apology. Desmond said he hopes to be cultured in the future.

“I’m sorry, I have no excuse, I have nothing other than to say I’m deeply sorry and I am hoping to be cultured in the future”.
