Singer, Chike, caused a stir online this evening when he gifted N1m to a troll who made an unflattering comment about him.
Chike had shared a video on his X handle when the troll left a comment saying that late singer, Mohbad ‘made’ Chike.
The X user further stated that if not for Mohbad, Chike would never have garnered 40 million views on his musical video.
Displeased by the user’s comment, Chike pointed out that the he lacked manners and should have researched properly before making such a statement.
He went on to say that he would have gifted the troll N1 million but feared the man’s account would collapse if he received such an amount.
The troll quickly dropped his account number and Chike graciously sent him N1 million.
While some Nigerians were left pleasantly surprised, others have raised eyebrows to the sincerity of the exchange.
