Davido’s longtime driver, Mr Solo, has sparked widespread reactions online after making heartfelt remarks about the Afrobeats superstar during a recent interview.
In the interview, he openly expressed deep loyalty and admiration for Davido, stressing that their relationship goes beyond professional duties.
According to him, despite the criticism the singer sometimes receives on social media, the real-life experience is completely different.
He explained that whenever they go out, they are usually met with overwhelming love and support, contrary to claims of widespread hate.
“Even the hate, they can’t say it in our faces. Everywhere they claim they hate us, when we get there, it’s love.”
Mr Solo’s comments became even more emotional as he spoke about the extent of his devotion to the singer.
He revealed that he would go as far as risking his life for Davido, showing just how strong their bond is.
“I could take a shot for him, I go collect am for Baddest. That’s the kind of love I have.”
He further explained that his confidence in Davido’s character and generosity gives him a strong sense of security.
According to him, even in an unfortunate situation, he believes his family would not be abandoned.
“I know say even if anything happens to me, my kids go enjoy. No worry.”
