Nollywood actress and Special Assistant to the Speaker of the Nigerian House of Representatives on Social Events and Public Hearings, Eniola Badmus, has sparked reactions after boasting that she doesn’t know what it means to be broke.

During an interview on the red carpet of the premiere of ‘The Return Of Omotara Johnson’, Badmus was asked how she handles financial downtime, but surprisingly, she said she couldn’t relate.

The interviewer asked: “What does being broke mean to you?”

Badmus replied: “I do not even know the meaning of being broke.”

When asked what being rich means to her, she said, “To have all the things that you want at your beck and call. When you are comfortable and able to buy whatever you want and also, most importantly, impact on other people’s lives.”

She added that “when you have money, it means you are successful.”
