Nollywood actor and politician Kenneth Okonkwo has expressed frustration over President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s leadership, questioning why Nigerians have to endure the current situation in the country.
In a statement expressing his disappointment, Okonkwo said he could not understand what Nigerians had done to deserve the situation, offering an emotional apology to God.
“I don’t know what we did to God for Tinubu to be our President. Oh God, we are sorry,” he said.
His remark reflects the frustration being expressed by some Nigerians over the country’s leadership and the challenges citizens continue to face.
Okonkwo, who has been vocal about Nigerian politics, has previously shared his views on the country’s political direction and leadership.
His latest statement is likely to spark further conversations among Nigerians, particularly on social media, where public figures’ comments about the government often generate mixed reactions.

@twinnytwist:”Statements like this just highlight how deeply frustrated even public figures have become with the current state of affairs.”
@Our Area:”Tinubu is Nigeria’s nemesis for sins committed in the past because tell why you cannot recount everything he has touched without shedding tears of frustrations? Someone who has spent a better part of his tenure on just borrowing outlandish amounts of money while the country sinks deeper and deeper into poverty!”
@AKPOS:”A politician can be defined as one who criticises a government when things are not in their favour but defend the same government when the tables turn. These guys are just all about their personal selfish interests.”
