Nollywood actress Nkechi Blessing has written a note to her late mother following her fight with Phyna.
Newsunplug reported on Thursday, October 1st, that Nkechi and Phyna held their highly anticipated boxing match at Federal Palace Hotel in Lagos.
After hours of exchanging blows, Phyna defeated Nkechi and won a brand-new car and N50 million.
Speaking out after the fight, she said she was still a champion regardless of the result. Nkechi added that even blind people know the winner.

Sharing a photo of the movie star, she noted that she has never raised her hands to fight anyone, but on Thursday, she stood on an unfamiliar stage with courage and fought like a warrior.
Nkechi thanked her mother for raising a Queen, a fighter, and an unstoppable child of grace. She described the fight as a great experience, one she would repeat.

“AFIANMA…..Your precious child was on a boxing ring for the first time in all my years on earth. I have never raised my hands to fight any soul. Still, yesterday I stood on an unfamiliar stage with just one thing: COURAGE, and in front of millions of people I fought like a warrior. Mummy, your daughter did not win, but her fight won’t leave millions’ mouths in a hurry.
Mama, thank you for raising a strong woman, a fighter and an unstoppable child of grace…It was indeed a great experience , even after training for just two days…Will I do this again? OH YES, I did. Did I make you proud? Mummy w,ere you watching? Did you also hear when they played your favourite song? I wanted you around; that was why I asked for that song…Jennifer was even crying before I entered the ring. The world is proud of me right now, and I am sure you are too.
Rest in peace, mummy.
I love you forever.
Big shout out to @balmoralpromotions @bet9jaig for this experience; I will never forget in a hurry”.
