Canada-based Nigerian doctor Zo has sparked reactions online after sharing his experience with young female patients and explaining why he has avoided attending to them for more than seven years.

The doctor made the statement while reacting to a lady’s account of an encounter with a young doctor who allegedly insisted on administering an injection in her buttocks rather than her arm.

Reacting to the incident, Zo expressed displeasure over what he described as people talking down on doctors, saying such attitudes had influenced his decision to stop attending to young female patients.

“I h@te it when people talk down on doctors. This is why I haven’t attended to young female patients for over seven years. They should go and meet their fellow women who are doctors,” he said.

His comments have generated discussion about the relationship between doctors and patients, particularly when disagreements arise over medical procedures.

Read some comments below:

@Lilian Nzube Ahmodu:”There’s a reason why she acted that way.”

@Nwike Ossai:”She’s a predator. That’s the thought process of  women who are sexual abusers”

@FIRE 👽:”Omo many Nigerians are slow o ahhh because why can’t y’all tell that this is a joke”

@EBUBE❤️:”wtf is wrong with you guyssss! Can’t you watch the video to the end. It was a fucking joke, she was showing her padded bumbum. Una too like fight. Any small thing gender war🤦🏾‍♂️”

@Spunky:”This is very annoying as a dentist, patient will come to the clinic, when you start attending to them. The clerking and other things will be good, when it comes to hard and soft tissue oral examinations, they will start acting funny, it is always very annoying. Like you are here, to be taking care of, why are you acting up as if your condition gives me any form of happiness.”

@Paul Frank:”Can  they take back social media, why could she just tell her friends So she now practically have the whole world to tell just because she want to stay relevant”

@Jasonn:”Some people sounds silly. During my preparation of lungs surgery a woman with one of the strong religion in the world had to shave my privat part before the surgery can start. Your health first. Be happy if your Doc treats you with care.”

Musician, Augustine Miles Kelechi, popularly known as Tekno, has sparked debate after claiming that the late music icon Fela Anikulapo-Kuti was not the sole originator of Afrobeats. “Fela is not the originator of Afrobeats,” Tekno stated during an interview on Hot 97 FM in New York. “Lagos people and the Yorubas might say he is the one, but I am from the East, and we had legends like Oliver De Coque. Oliver De Coque made pure highlife music. Highlife is also Afrobeats.” Tekno argued that Fela received primary credit largely because of his global reach. “Fela gets all the credit because he travelled and performed with his band around the world. To some people, he is the originator of Afrobeats, but to me, there are a bunch of them—legends that no one speaks about.” While acknowledging Fela’s influence and citing him as the inspiration behind his hit single Rara, Tekno emphasized his own musical roots. “I would say I was more inspired by Oliver De Coque and his peers from the East. My dad used to play his music a lot.”
