Nigerian media personality Roby Ekpo has opened up about his past marriage to Mayowa Lambe, sharing details about their relationship and eventual separation.
In a recent statement, he reflected on how the marriage changed after his wife travelled abroad, noting that he continued to support her financially despite the distance.
“If I had a child outside wedlock, I would have been justified. Mayowa travelled abroad six years ago, and with the little I had, I kept sending her money. Since 2021, I haven’t seen her again.”
Roby Ekpo’s comments come amid renewed public attention surrounding the couple’s relationship history, which has reportedly been strained for several years.
According to previous reports, the pair were married but eventually drifted apart after Mayowa relocated overseas, leading to prolonged separation and conflicting narratives about their status.
