Morayo Brown has opened up about the personal reason behind her decision to leave Harvesters International Christian Centre, sharing an emotional chapter of her life during a conversation with Pastor Bolaji Idowu.
Speaking candidly, Morayo disclosed that her departure from the church was influenced by a failed relationship with a fellow minister. According to her, both she and her former partner served actively in the church, with her occupying the role of head usher while he was also involved in ministry.
Reflecting on the experience, she admitted that the breakup had a significant impact on her, making it difficult for her to remain in the same environment after the relationship ended.
“I left Harvesters Church because of a man. He broke up with me. We were both ministers at the church; I was the head usher, and he was a minister,” she revealed during the discussion.
Her revelation has sparked conversations online, with many people relating to the emotional challenges that can arise when personal relationships and church commitments intersect.
The discussion also highlighted the importance of healing, growth, and finding the strength to move forward after difficult life experiences, particularly within close-knit faith communities.
