Nollywood actress Uche Ogbodo has slammed a fan following her latest interview.
In an interview with Deacon Famous, she said she was only a few years older than her husband, yet people thought she was his mother. Ogbodo questioned how people can come up with such a bizarre statement.
The movie star said she believes women are more of the providers and men are emotionally selfish, as they only care about themselves and not their women and children. See the video here.
In her comment section, a fan alleged that the actress sponsored her own wedding, which is why she said women are more providers in this generation.
“Of course you won’t blame a woman who sponsored her own marriage with a younger man for saying women are more providers in this generation. She is speaking from her personal experience, but she shouldn’t generalise it biko”.
Responding to him, Ogbodo made it known that she didn’t sponsor their wedding. She admonished the fan to give her ex his flowers as he did his thing.
“Uncle, I never sponsored my marriage! Last thing I would ever do till I kpai! Respect my ex-husband; he did his thing”.
