Nollywood actress Regina Chukwu has responded to those dragging her over her latest post following the death of her colleague, Alex Ekubo.
Newsunplug reported on Tuesday that the light-skinned actor had passed away on Monday, May 11th, after a battle with Cancer and was 41 years old.
The light-skinned Yoruba actor, explaining herself, said the post was scheduled, and before she could reschedule it, she had already received insults from netizens.
Chukwu said though she doesn’t owe anyone an explanation, people always want to dictate how others should live their lives. She stated that Instagram is her space, and no one should tell her how to act.
“A scheduled post popped up at the time it was supposed to, and before I could get there, I have started seeing so many insults on the post. Not like I owe anyone any explanation o but you see y’all with fake love that always want to tell others how to live their life or how to show emotion ‘ori yin ti buru’, the one you will abuse people for mourning the dead all cause you feel they never celebrated them when they were alive or is it you wanting to tell others how to act at a certain time. Like you cared that much, don’t bring that here o.
This is my space, and you won’t tell me how to act here”.
