Grammy-winning Nigerian singer Ayodeji Balogun, widely known as Wizkid, has described himself as “boring.”

The music star made the comment during a recent episode of Close Friends Only Speed Round with fellow artiste Asake, where he explained that celebrities live normal lives like everyone else and often do everyday things that may appear unexciting to fans.

During the conversation, Asake asked him, “What’s an interesting fact that fans don’t know about you?”

Wizkid responded, “I see myself as boring. I wake up in the morning at 6:30, I take my kids to school. We [celebrities] are normal human beings too, man.”

Speaking on the three most important things in his life, the singer mentioned his daughter Morayo, music, and God.

Wizkid also shared his view on what sustains a long music career, stating that authenticity, strategic collaborations, and hard work are the key factors for longevity in the industry.
