Dancer and entertainer Korra Obidi has opened up about a painful experience from her past involving her family’s reaction to a bikini photo she posted online.
Speaking during a podcast interview, she revealed that the situation escalated and turned violent after the image was shared on social media, alleging that she was physically attacked by members of her own family.
According to her, the incident happened before she fully embraced her current public identity as a performer known for her bold fashion sense and expressive dance style.

“My brothers and uncles beat me black and blue when I wore my first bikini and posted it, punched me in the stomach”, she said.
