Malam Yankee, former Plantashun Boiz manager and current manager of Iceking Ochacho, has spoken about the young singer’s musical journey, praising his talent while commenting on the role of parents in supporting their children’s music careers.
Speaking about Iceking, Malam Yankee described him as a star who started singing at the age of eight. He also suggested that financial circumstances can influence how much support young aspiring musicians receive from their parents.
“Iceking is a star, he’s has been singing since he was 8 years old. Your parents don’t have money, that’s why they’re not encouraging your music career, if they have money like Ochacho, they’ll encourage you” Malam Yankee said.
His comments highlight the importance of financial resources and parental encouragement in the pursuit of a career in music, particularly for young talents who may need support to develop their skills and gain recognition.
