Veteran Nollywood actor Sunday Afolabi has opened up about the financial struggles that pushed him into different jobs, including commercial bus driving.

Speaking on Talk to B Show, Afolabi said relocating to Badagry made it difficult for him to get acting jobs in central Lagos. He eventually sold his car, worked as a motorcycle rider and later tried tailoring, solar installation, photography and minibus driving.

He said he would rather take up any legitimate job than beg for food.

Afolabi also appealed for accommodation closer to Lagos and a reliable car he could use for uber, saying this would help him return to acting jobs more easily.
