Nigerian social media personality Saida Boj has criticised online activist Verydarkman over his repeated remarks against Afrobeats star Davido, insisting that the singer is unlikely to respond to him directly.
In a viral video, Saida Boj questioned Verydarkman’s belief that his Ratel movement could be compared to Davido’s 30BG fan base, arguing that the two are not on the same level of influence.
She also expressed disappointment that Verydarkman was publicly attacking Davido, despite the singer having previously associated with him.
According to Saida Boj, Davido’s silence should not be mistaken for an inability to respond, noting that it is usually people around the singer who address the activist rather than Davido himself.
She further argued that Verydarkman appeared eager to get a direct response from Davido, adding that such a response would give the activist the recognition he was seeking.
“Verydarkman wants Davido to answer him, that’s the thing. If Davido answers him now, he has given him a level,” she said.
Saida Boj advised Davido to remain silent, insisting that the singer should not give Verydarkman the satisfaction of a direct response.
Recall that the activist has been dragging Davido over his alleged involvement in his arrest during the Mohbad’s controversy.
