Nollywood actress Liz Anjorin has tackled her colleague Iyabo Ojo over money allegedly sprayed on her at singer Zlatan Ibile’s traditional wedding to Davita Lamai.
Liz’s remarks followed a viral video showing Iyabo receiving bundles of naira notes from a male guest at the wedding ceremony held in Lagos on October 24, 2026.
Reacting to the moment, Liz argued that Iyabo should have returned the money to the celebrant if she was not financially struggling.
“If truly they sprayed that money for Iyabo at Zlatan’s wedding and she’s not hungry, her right is to surrender the money to the celebrant. When you go to a party, it takes a poor person to go home with the money they sprayed you,” she stated.
Liz further argued that guests who receive money at parties should consider giving some of it back or using it to appreciate the musicians who performed at the event.
She suggested that financially comfortable guests could keep a portion of the money while sharing the rest with people in need.
“You can retain a bale of ₦50k or ₦100k, so that when you’re going, you can bless some physically challenged people or area boys,” she added.
Her comments have drawn attention to the debate over money spraying at social events and whether guests should keep the money they receive or share it with others.
The remarks also bring renewed attention to the public tension between Liz and Iyabo, whose disagreements have previously played out on social media.
