Media personality Madam Joyce experienced a frightening incident in Lagos after she was mistakenly mobbed by a group of young men who thought she was rapper Zlatan while riding in his car.
Joyce, who is in the city for the festive Detty December celebrations, can be heard in a video pleading with the crowd, saying, “Guys, I’m not Zlatan… he just let me use his car. I’m not Zlatan; they actually think Zlatan is in the car.”
The situation caused visible panic, with Joyce appearing distressed as the crowd surrounded the vehicle.
Online, users have expressed relief that she was unharmed, while also pointing out the risks that come with driving high-profile cars and being misidentified in public.
