A Nigerian marriage therapist, Safiyyah Kassim, has said that DNA is not encouraged in Islam.

“In Islam, a child belongs to the legitimate husband of a woman even if someone else is responsible for the pregnancy! DNA is not encouraged in Islam,” she wrote on Facebook.
