Social commentator Geh Geh has publicly criticized Super Eagles striker Victor Boniface for his reported purchase of a Lamborghini worth ₦400 million, contrasting the luxury expense with the severe economic hardship and escalating insecurity in Nigeria.

Geh Geh expressed disappointment that the footballer, who hails from Edo State, chose to acquire an opulent vehicle rather than assisting with urgent crises affecting his home region.

He specifically referenced the recent high-profile abduction of a couple in Edo State, where the kidnappers allegedly demanded a ransom of ₦70 million. Geh Geh argued that Boniface’s financial

capacity could have been utilized to support efforts to secure the victims’ release.

The commentator summarized his criticism:

“Victor Boniface disappointed me for buying a ₦400 million Lamborghini in a time when Nigerians are crying for help. A couple was kidnapped in Edo State and the kidnappers asked for ₦70 million. Being from the state, Victor Boniface could have stepped in to help.”
