Nigerian businesswoman and entrepreneur Adeola Diadem has revealed why she decided to sack her chef, accusing her of serving stale food instead of preparing fresh meals.
Adeola shared the experience while expressing her dissatisfaction with the quality of food her former chef served her. According to the businesswoman, the situation became concerning enough for her to end their working relationship.
Explaining her decision, she said she had to let the chef go before she ended up being poisoned.
“I had to fire her before she poisons me,” Adeola Diadem said.
Her revelation has drawn attention to the importance of food safety and the need for household staff responsible for preparing meals to maintain proper hygiene and food-handling standards.
While Adeola did not provide further details about the incident in the statement, her comments highlight the frustration that can arise when trust is broken between an employer and a domestic worker.
