Nigerian media personality Noble Igwe has appeared to align with the views of his colleague Daddy Freeze regarding the public reactions and online footage from the burial of late actor Alex Ekubo.

According to reports, the actor was laid to rest on Thursday, June 18, amid emotional scenes and tributes from family, friends, and colleagues in the entertainment industry.

Reacting via his Instagram Story, Noble Igwe suggested there was no need to fuel further arguments around Daddy Freeze’s comments, noting that several videos circulating online made the funeral appear more like a “celebration of life” than a purely solemn event.

His words…

“There’s really no need to give that Daddy reason to talk. No need for that many videos that make it seem like a celebration. But what do I know?”
