Nigerian singer, Niniola Apata, has shared a cryptic post suggesting that blood is no longer thicker than water, adding that d3ath unmasks people’s real character.

The Grammy-nominated artist stated this on her Instagram story while penning heartfelt appreciation notes to the Apata family, her colleagues and friends for their support following the d3ath of her husband, Michael Ndika.

A service of songs was held on Saturday ahead of her late husband’s burial during the week.

“It’s better to have pure water run through your veins than blood that it is supposed to be thicker,” she wrote.

“D3ath let’s you see people’s true form.”
