Nollywood actor Yul Edochie has lashed out church goers who are fond of pressing their phones in church.
In a post on one of his social media pages, he expressed displeasure at such behaviour especially while mass or service is going on.
Yul questioned if such people can’t stay off their phones for an hour to respect God. He further questioned of they have an appointment to see a Governor or president and their phones is taken from them, they would be okay with it.
“It’s sad seeing people who go to church and be pressing their phones inside the church while mass or service is going on.
You mean you can’t stay off your phone for an hour in respect to God?
If you go to see a Governor or President, your phones will be taken from you for hours and you’ll be ok with it.
But while you’re in the presence of our Creator, you can’t put off your phone and listen to His word?
Really sad”.
