Nollywood actress Ufuoma McDermott has revealed her one regret following the passing of her colleague, Alex Ekubo.
Newsunplug reported on Thursday, June 18th, the actor was finally laid to rest amidst tears. The likes of IK Ogbonna, Mike Godson, Omoni Oboli, Ini Edo, KCee and E-Money, Cubana Chief Priest, Bimbo Ademoye, Kunle Remi and his wife, Ayo Makun, Yomi Casual, Nancy Isime, Funny Bone, Pretty Mike, and a tone of others had attended the emotional event.
Taking to her Instagram page to mourn him following his burial, she revealed that Uti Nwachukwu introduced him to her in December 2020 in Calabar, and she realised she had married on his birthday that year.
Ufuoma described Alex as a beautiful soul, saying she beats herself for weeks, questioning why she didn’t send him that message a day earlier.
“Uti introduced you to me in December 2010 in Calabar.
We realised I had gotten married on your birthday that year.
You are such a beautiful soul, Ikuku.
To everyone who encountered you.
Close and from afar.
I’ve beaten myself up for weeks now
… Why didn’t I send that message one day earlier???
