Nigerian influencer, Priscilla Ojo-Mkambala, has spoken about the criticism she sometimes receives from Tanzanian social media users following her marriage.
In a recent statement, the daughter of Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo said she has learned to ignore negativity online and focus on maintaining peace within her family.
“Tanzanians on social media can be negative towards me sometimes. I’ve learned to ignore them, but I’m at peace with my in-laws,” she said.
Her comments quickly generated reactions online, with many social media users sharing mixed opinions about her marriage and public image.
One user, @Smallz11111, appeared confused about her husband’s background, writing, “Wait did this girl marry from Tanzanian? I thought she is married to an Igbo man?”
Another user, @sunie29683, commented, “Enjoy your marriage while it last, we are now counting months until we started hearing news.”
Others defended the influencer and encouraged her to ignore online negativity.
@Ameboosimnews_ wrote, “Social media people too talk 😭 as long as her marriage is peaceful, online noise no really matter at all.”
Similarly, @alhajitequila added, “Not everybody would like you and that’s very normal.”
