Jada Pollock, the partner and manager of music star Wizkid, has slammed society and the internet over its wrong narratives.
On her Instagram story, the mother of three noted how society and the internet often push certain narratives, but raising her kids and nurturing a balanced and healthy relationship has always been her priority.
Jada said watching her closest friends get married was truly beautiful, and it reminded her that there are no time limits in life. She added that our hearts know when the time is right and nothing is predetermined.
“And then I caught the bouquet yesterday! Society and the internet often push certain narratives, but raising my kids and nurturing a balanced, healthy relationship has always been my priority. Watching one of my closest friends get married yesterday was truly beautiful; it reminded me that there are no time limits in life. Our hearts know when the time is right, and nothing is predetermined it’s all about God’s timing”.
Earlier this year, Jada had spoken out on the hard part of being a nursing mother. She noted how breastfeeding and pumping are so hard but rewarding.
Last year, in an interview with BET UK, the talent manager noted how when Wizkid won a Grammy, she wrote a statement about how far Afrobeat had come, and many blogs labelled her as ‘Wizkid’s baby mama.’ She noted how people undermine her accomplishments and don’t see her as an entrepreneur and hardworking businesswoman. Jada made it known that she isn’t just a mother and a manager, but has helped build a legacy.
The relationship between Wizkid and his babymama has been rocking over the years. In 2023, the lovebirds hinted at a breakup after the singer revealed that he was single and ready to find love again, which left Jada infuriated and she slammed him for bringing their issue online.
The two later reconciled and Wizkid had surprised her on Mother’s Day with a lavish treat. He had also surprised her with a Land Rover, which Pollock happily shared online.
Not stopping there, Wizkid went all out for her as she celebrated her 40th birthday by throwing her an exot!c birthday bash and splashing over N10 million naira on her.
