A yet-to-identified woman d!ed inside a commercial tricycle at Isheri, Idimu area of Lagos State last Friday, July 19.
According to reports, the deceased had boarded the tricycle along the Isheri-Igando Road and was heading to the Isheri end of the area. The driver of the tricycle then notified her that he had gotten to her bus stop but he was shocked to find out that she was not responding.
He alighted, tapped her severally and found out she was motionless. He raised an alarm and other passersby came around and tried to wake her up but they all couldn’t as she was no longer breathing.
The police later came to the scene of the incident and evacuated the deceased alongside the tricycle to the Idimu police station.
The cause of her death is yet to be ascertained. The state police command is yet to comment on this development.
