Three suspected members of a car theft and robbery gang have been arrested in Lagos following information provided by members of the public.

The suspects allegedly specialise in stealing cars and taking valuables from residents.

Two of the pistols had five cartridges loaded while the third had three rounds of ammunition.
The police said the arrested men are currently in custody while investigators continue looking for other members of the gang.
The arrests are part of the police command’s efforts to crack down on @rmed r0bbery, carj@cking and violent crimes across Lagos.
A police spokesman said preliminary investigations showed the suspects were involved in car snatching and stealing from innocent people.
