A Nigerian man has taken to social media to cry out for justice after some police officers in Lagos state allegedly ass@ulted him and called his wife a ‘’pr0stitute’ during a stop and search exercise.

In a post shared on his X handle, the man with the handle @oghenefemy, said he he had just finished watching football and was driving out when he was stopped by a group of police officers at a checkpoint in front of TFC Opebi. He stated that after he parked, he alighted from his vehicle and was expected a search to be carried on him or his car. According to him, the male officers insisted on searching his wife which he rejected, saying that only a female officer would be allowed to search her.

He stated that things took a different turn when one of the officers, who appeared drunk, got infuriated and hit him multiple times on the face while threatening to deal with him.
