It is officially the birthday of Nollywood actress Laide Bakare.
The Yoruba star, who has been excitedly counting down to her big day for several days now, shared glamorous photos of herself in a red dress via her Instagram page.
Wishing herself a happy birthday, Laide said a word of prayer, declaring good things in her life and beyond. She further revealed that her birthday party is on Victoria Island.

In her comment section, her colleague, Ayo Olaiya, wished her a happy birthday.
He wrote, “Happiest birthday to Abiamo toto, you shall live to eat the fruit of your labour. Age gracefully”.
Earlier this year, Laide had written to herself to celebrate her achievement. She reminded herself of the passion and dedication that had brought her this far, and that everyone at the event she hosted was a testament to her impact.
Late last year, Laide had added a Doctorate Degree in Arts & Humanities from the American University of Peace and Governance, USA.
Following the degree, the mother of three announced that it was official for people to address her as Dr Sharing photos from the ceremony, she said the degree is geared towards her dedication to Governance, leadership and service to humanity.
Also, in February, Laide bagged an appointment as the Senior Special Assistant to the Osun State Governor On Entertainment, Art, Culture, and Tourism.
Speaking out, Laide announced that it was a new dawn for her as the appointment had kick-started her journey into politics. Calling herself honourable, she appreciated the Governor for trusting her and allowing her to serve as she pledged to the people of Osun State.
