The 2025/26 LaLiga season officially ended on Sunday night, with some of the teams confirming the European competitions they will play in next season.
This follows Villarreal’s 5-1 win against Atletico Madrid at home.
Before Sunday, Barcelona and Real Madrid had confirmed their Champions League qualification after securing the top two positions on the LaLiga table.
Villarreal finished in third position after beating Atletico Madrid, who finished in fourth place.
Both teams, alongside Real Betis, who finished in fourth position, also sealed qualification for the Champions League next season.
Celta secured qualification for the Europa League after finishing in sixth place, while Getafe qualified for the Europa Conference League after ending the season in seventh position.
Real Sociedad also qualified for the Europa League despite finishing in tenth place on the LaLiga table.
This is because they won the Copa del Rey title this season after beating Atletico Madrid in the final.
