Barcelona midfielder, Rodri has welcomed Atletico Madrid’s Julian Alvarez to join him at the Catalan club.
Rodri described Alvarez as a sensational player and would welcome him to Blaugrana without hesitation.
Alvarez, who has been linked with a move to Barcelona, is keen to join the Catalan club.
Atletico Madrid ultimately decided not to sell the Argentina international to Barcelona.
“Would I sign him here? Of course,” Rodri told Mundo Deportivo.
“I think he is a sensational player. I would take him here without hesitation.
“I had the chance to play with him for two years, and I think he is an incredible player, truly incredible,” he added.
Rodri and Alvarez were former teammates at Manchester City during their time in the Premier League.
