Barcelona wonderkid Lamine Yamal has expressed confidence in his team’s ability to win the treble, insisting that the Catalan giants should always aim for the highest possible achievements.
The Spanish international believes Barcelona have the quality and history to compete for every major trophy, including La Liga, the Copa del Rey and the UEFA Champions League. The World Cup winner was speaking about the possibility of winning the treble after the 4-1 victory against Galatasaray in the UEFA Champions League
Yamal emphasised the importance of believing in the team and maintaining high ambitions.
“We are Barcelona, in my view, we are the best team in the world”
The young forward also pointed to Barcelona’s history of achieving the feat, having previously won the treble in 2008/09 under Pep Guardiola and again in 2014/15 under Luis Enrique.
Yamal’s comments reflect his confidence in Barcelona’s ability to return to the summit of European football. Rather than being intimidated by the pressure of competing for multiple trophies, the teenager believes ambition and self-belief are essential for a club of Barcelona’s stature.
For Barcelona supporters, the prospect of another treble remains an exciting target, although the team would need consistency, strong performances and a bit of luck to achieve it.
