There have been reports concerning the future of Liam Rosenior at Chelsea Football Club following the club’s poor form since his appointment from Strasbourg.
Rosenior was asked about his future at the Chelsea because of the series of poor results since February 2026 after the UEFA Champions League game against PSG. According to the Englishman, the owners are Chelsea are fully behind him no matter the result or where they finish at the end of the season.
He said,
They are supporting me. They believe in me. We have lost our four last league games. That’s not good enough. So, regardless of what they believe I can achieve with the club in the long term, I need to get results now with this group”.
He continued,
“My job is to be accountable. The buck stops with me. I want to protect the players from external criticism. I believe we will come through this period so much stronger, but we have to get this part right now”.
Chelsea have lost their last four games in the Premier without scoring a goal. However Rosenior hopes he can lead his team to victories in the last five league games as they a spot in the Champions League draw next season.
