Chelsea manager, Liam Rosenior has identified Joao Pedro as the Blues player he wouldn’t swap him for anyone.

Rosenior spoke at his post-match interview after Pedro led Chelsea to beat Wrexham in the FA Cup on Saturday.

He also insisted that the Brazilian international is on the same level compared with Manchester City’s Erling Haaland, Real Madrid’s Kylian Mbappe, and Bayern Munich’s Harry Kane.

Asked if he would trade Pedro for Haaland, Mbappe, or Kane after Chelsea defeated Wrexham, Rosenior said, “Joao is in that category now. Consistently in the two months that I have been here, he’s shown that he is a world-class striker.

“I talk about my players. It’s disrespectful to Erling to compare them. I don’t know him very well, but I do know that from the outside, he’s a magnificent world-class striker too.

“I wouldn’t swap Joao out for anyone in this moment, to be honest,” he said.
